Digital Desk: Akhil Akkineni, son of actor Nagarjuna and Amala Akkineni, ties the knot with Zainab Ravdjee in a lovely and intimate wedding in Hyderabad, on 6th June 2025. The couple’s wedding pictures have taken social media by storm, expressing lots of love and adoration for them.


The ceremony, rooted in traditional Telugu customs, was a star-studded affair attended by close ones, famous people, and celebrities. Akhil and Zainab looked incredible in white outfits—Zainab had on a light-colored ivory sari with golden pieces of jewelry, and Akhil wore an ivory kurta and dhoti.


Several heartwarming pictures have been posted online, in one of the photographs, the couple is seen smiling and holding hands alongside guests. Nagarjuna and Akhil were shown sitting together in an emotional scene as Akhil, the groom, folded his hands in prayer for the rituals. Videos from the festivities also captured joyful moments of Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya dancing joyfully in Akhil’s baraat.


Among the celebrity guests were Naga Chaitanya, Sobhita Dhulipala, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Prashanth Neel. The event was a blend of elegance, tradition, and celebration.


Akhil and Zainab got engaged in November 2024, ahead of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding. Zainab Ravdjee, a 39-year-old artist born in Hyderabad and based in Mumbai, is known for her abstract artwork. Her father is an industrialist, Zulfi Ravdjee and she once acted in MF Hussain’s movie Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities.


Following his previous role, Akhil will next be seen in the action drama Lenin, directed by Murali Kishore Abburu and co-starring Sreeleela, set to release in November 2025.
