Digital Desk: Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are set to extend their celebrations in London, with Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man and father of the groom, reportedly booking the luxurious Stoke Park hotel until September following their lavish Mumbai wedding earlier this month.

Anant Ambani, the younger son of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani of Reliance Industries, tied the knot with Radhika Merchant on July 12 amidst grandeur and opulence, estimated to cost a staggering $500 million including pre-wedding events.

Stoke Park, situated in Buckinghamshire outside London, is not just a hotel but an estate spanning 300 acres with a mansion, golf courses, and tennis courts. Acquired by Reliance Industries in 2021 for £57 million, the estate underwent renovations and is a grade II-listed, seven-star property. Despite regulations requiring it to function as a commercial entity rather than a private residence, Mukesh Ambani’s exclusive booking for two months has stirred local controversy.

The closure of Stoke Park to the public during this period, except for Ambani family members and guests, has drawn criticism and sparked suspense with the local community and council. Approximately 850 golf club members have been instructed to steer clear during this exclusive period.

According to sources cited by The Sun, the Ambanis have spared no expense in ensuring the celebrations are nothing short of spectacular. Planned events over the next two months are expected to draw high-profile guests, including political figures and celebrities like Boris Johnson, Tony and Cherie Blair, and even Prince Harry.

Security measures have been significantly heightened in anticipation of these notable attendees. The Ambanis’ choice to extend their wedding festivities to Stoke Park highlights their penchant for grandeur and exclusivity, making headlines for its scale and lavish arrangements that continue to captivate global attention.
