She suffered sexual harassment since her transition, which included receiving inappropriate nude photos from her male cricket teammates after coming out as transgender.
The 17-year-old cricketer Anaya teamed up with remarkable teenage cricketers, including Musheer Khan, Sarfaraz Khan, and Yashasvi Jaiswal, during her younger playing days, but concealed her transgender identity because her father was well-known and described the cricket ecosystem as toxic and insecure.
Anaya described that she recognized her feminine identity since she was young. An experienced cricket veteran made inappropriate sexual suggestions while openly proposing to sleep with her.
Harassment has accompanied her experience yet she found some backing from others. Anaya represents both the Islam Gymkhana in Mumbai as well as the Hinckley Cricket Club in Leicestershire.
