Ripun Bora, the leader of the Trinamool Congress Party resigned from the leadership...

Digital Desk: The former Trinamool Congress president Ripun Bora is set to rejoin the Indian National Congress party on Sunday, September 8 in Charaideo.

Earlier, according to reports, the president of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee Bhupen Bora addressed the media with a hint of Bora's return to the party saying they would be happy if Bora joined the party again.

Notably, Ripun Bora, the leader of the Trinamool Congress Party resigned from the leadership on September 2.  According to Bora, the people of the northeastern state have always claimed as a regional party of West Bengal but the Kolkata TMC is not ready to accept it.

It needs to be mentioned that Bora has been the leader of TMC Assam since 2022. Prior to that, Bora was a member of the Indian National Congress Party for many years.
