Digital Desk: Basistha Police has successfully arrested seven notorious dacoits in a major operation spanning Hajo, Nalbari, Adabari, and Na-mile.


The gang, known for spreading terror across the state, was allegedly involved in multiple cases of cattle theft, robbery, and ATM looting.


The arrested individuals have been identified as Abdullah Ali, Jakir Ali, Chand Mohammad Ali, Ali, Mostafa Ahmed, Kafiluddin Ali, and Badshah Ali.


Their involvement in previous criminal activities, specifically cattle theft, had been documented by CCTV camera.


During the crackdown, police seized an unregistered four-wheeler, along with ropes, knives, cash, and four mobile phones used in the crimes.


All seven individuals are currently being interrogated by the Basistha Police as investigations continue.
