While Shreyas and Ishan returned to the contracts, senior players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja retained their places in the top grade A+ despite the trio's retirement from T20 Internationals.

Digital Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket In India (BCCI) announced the annual contracts for the 2024-25 season on April 11, which included Indian cricketers Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan. Both players were snubbed in the previous season for failing to play for their domestic sides Mumbai and Jharkhand respectively.

While Shreyas and Ishan returned to the contracts, senior players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja retained their places in the top grade A+ despite the trio's retirement from T20 Internationals.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant has been promoted to Grade A from Grade B. Shreyas Iyer is included in Grade B, while Ishan Kishan is in Grade C with 18 other players.

Four players have received maiden BCCI contracts, and they are Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harshit Rana, Abhishek Sharma, and Varun Chakaravarthy.

A total of 34 players were included in the Annual contract for the 2024-25 season. 

The players with BCCI's central contracts for the season are:

Grade A+: Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja.

Grade A: Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, Mohammed Shami, Rishabh Pant.

Grade B: Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shreyas Iyer.

Group C: Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, Prasidh Krishna, Rajat Patidar, Dhruv Jurel, Sarfaraz Khan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Ishan Kishan, Abhishek Sharma, Akash Deep, Varun Chakaravarthy, Harshit Rana.
