The Biswa Hindu Parishad workers condemned the attack in Chirang on Friday and raised anti-Pakistan slogans against the harrowing incident.

Digital Desk: As a mark of protest against the recent ghastly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday, April 22, the Biswa Hindu Parishad workers burnt Pakistani flags at Kajalgaon of Chirang district on April 25.

Following the tragedy that left 28 dead in the scenic tourist spot of Baisaran Valley in J&K, protests have raged across Indian states.

The Biswa Hindu Parishad workers condemned the attack in Chirang on Friday and raised anti-Pakistan slogans against the harrowing incident.

The workers also burnt photos of Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. They trampled the Pakistan flag and set it on fire in front of the Chirang district commissioner's office.

The deadly attack has escalated tensions between India and Pakistan, with possible fear of military war between the arch-rivals.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday pledged to punish all the terrorists and their backers. He added that India will pursue Pahalgam attackers to "the ends of the earth."
