The last known GPS location of the car was at Sonapur Toll Gate on 5th April 


Digital Desk:  A four-wheeler rented vehicle has gone missing after being under false pretenses of a five-day trip. On 1st April,  a young man from   Manipur rented a Scorpio SUV bearing registration number AS 01 FQ 0969 from  Rahul Bora of Guwahati,  claiming he needed the Scorpio for a tour across Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh.


However, it's been  18 days, both the vehicle and the man are missing, the Manipuri man identified as  Thounaojam Samananda Singh, has been untraceable.  The last verified GPS  location from the car was at  Sonapur Toll Gate on 5th  April. after that, the vehicle’s GPS device was deliberately removed,  raising intense suspicions about fraudulent activities.


The Scorpio’s owner, Rahul Bora, has now approached the Dispur Police.  The Dispur Police suspects that the Scorpio has fallen into the hands of a well-organized and planned scam network. An investigation is underway to trace both the accused and the stolen vehicle.
