New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation conducted raids across 20 locations spanning over six states with regards to alleged irregularities in JEE (Mains) exam.

The alleged irregularity was supposedly committed on the Session 4 of JEE Main Exam.

CBI has registered a case against Affinity Education Pvt Ltd and its directors for the alleged irregularities. The institute has been booked for the way it has conducted JEE Main Exam 2021. The case was registered on September 1, 2021. According to PTI, CBI spokesperson RC Joshi said, "A case was registered on 01.09.2021 against the private company and others, including its directors, three employees and private persons (conduits)."

The Session 4 of JEE (Mains) 2021 exam started on August 26, 2021.

All covid protocols were followed during the examination.

The exam ended today, September 2, 2021.
