Last month, Salman Khan was sent an anonymous letter of the threat that read, "you will end up like Moose Wala."

Digital Desk: According to media reports, Bollywood Star Salman Khan has applied for a weapon license for personal protection amid the death threats.

According to sources, Khan has submitted an application to the Mumbai Police for a firearm license. A threat letter sent to Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan was discovered last month on Mumbai's Bandra Bandstand path.

According to the report's sources, the Bollywood actor met with Mumbai Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar on Friday about the threat letter delivered to him and his father. He submitted an application for a firearm license.

Khan was sent an anonymous threat letter last month with the statement "tumhara Moose Wala kar denge (you will end up like Moose Wala)." The note, apparently sent to Salman Khan and his father, Salim Khan, was discovered on June 5 at Mumbai's Bandra Bandstand promenade. Khan's security has been beefed up as a result of the letter.

The Mumbai Police, which is investigating the case, stated that the threat letter was a publicity stunt by Lawrence Bishnoi's gang, which was involved in the killing of Moose Wala.

According to officials, the threat was sent at the request of Vikram Barad, a Bishnoi associate who is currently located in Canada.
