Digital Desk: On 7th April, an FIR was filed by Sahanaj Parbin (27) at Bhagaduttapur Outpost under Dispur Police Station. Sahanaj filed her report by explaining that Sahajuddin had been her romantic partner before their relationship ended one year ago. The relationship ended one year ago, and they have remained completely estranged since this time.
According to the FIR, she unexpectedly met Sahajuddin at Morigaon town on 29th March 2025. He convinced him to accompany him to Guwahati to buy new clothes, they travelled in a four-wheeler vehicle from Morigaon to Guwahati. However, Sahajuddin physically and raped her inside the vehicle near Londan Bridge at Daksingaon which is located in Kahilipara at around 8 PM. . After the incident, he dropped her back at Morigaon town and fled.
Following the FIR, the Dhing Police Station in Nagaon district arrested Sahaj Uddin (28) from Salkati Pathar who is the son of Usman Ali Sarkar. Sahajuddin has been brought to Dispur Police Station after for further legal proceedings under Dispur PS Case No. 322/25, registered under Section 64(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
