Digital Desk: As the final day of the religious Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 began on Wednesday, a large number of devotees gathered on the banks of the Sangam for the special 'snan' (holy dip) on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. Over 1 crore devotees across the country and abroad took a holy dip on Maha Shivratri as the Maha Kumbh Mela will conclude on February 26.

The Maha Kumbh Mela, the world's largest religious congregation began on January 13 and witnessed devotees of around 65 crore from all over the world. The month-long celebration of the religious gathering comes to a grand conclusion on Wednesday.
Earlier on Wednesday, a helicopter showered flowers on devotees who were taking a holy dip at Sangam, the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers on the occasion of Maha Shivratri in Prayagraj.
Maha Kumbh Mela witnessed six 'snan' including three 'Amrit Snan' days.
