Digital Desk: Four persons were killed in a blast in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir, on Monday, officials said in Srinagar. The explosion took place inside a scrap dealer's shop at Sher Colony in Sopore town, Baramulla district. The incident occurred while some people were unloading scrap from a truck.

Two of the victims died at the scene, while the other two succumbed to their injuries later. The deceased have been identified as Nazir Ahmad Nadroo (40), Aazim Ashraf Mir (20), Aadil Rashid Bhat (23), and Mohammad Azhar (25), all residents of Sher Colony.
