Initial investigations revealed that Himani was killed elsewhere before her body was stuffed in the suitcase and dumped near the Sampla bus stand on the Rohtak-Delhi highway.

Digital Desk: A 22-year-old Congress worker's body was found in a suitcase in Haryana's Rohtak on Saturday. The late woman, identified as Himani Narwal, was a participant in Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra and was active in various political events. Her mother Savita Narwal, alleged that some of the people from the party might be involved in the case.

Initial investigations revealed that Himani was killed elsewhere before her body was stuffed in the suitcase and dumped near the Sampla bus stand on the Rohtak-Delhi highway. CCTV footage and Himani's call records are also being analysed to find out the murderer.

The Congress party demanded a high-level probe into the murder. Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda expressed grief over the death of Himani Narwal.
Himani's mother said that she last spoke to her daughter on February 27. Himani often discussed the issues related to the party with her mother. She added that her daughter had arguments with senior Congress leaders.
