CM Sarma's review meeting focused on ensuring the smooth functioning of Amit Shah's visit to Assam.

Digital Desk: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday reviewed preparations for Union Home Minister Amit Shah's 3-day visit to the state next week.
Taking to X, the Chief Minister's office (CMO) said, "HCM Dr. @himantabiswa chaired a preparatory meeting for Hon'ble Union Minister Shri @AmitShah's upcoming visit to Assam."

CM Sarma's review meeting focused on ensuring the smooth functioning of Amit Shah's visit to Assam.

Shah's visit is scheduled for March 14 to 16, 2025. During his visit, the Union Home Minister will directly arrive in Jorhat on March 14 and inaugurate the renovated police academy in Dergaon on March 15. He will attend a programme in Mizoram and return to Assam the same day.

The next day, i.e. on March 16, he will attend a meeting in the Bodoland Territorial Region and leave for Delhi later in the day.
