Digital Desk: In a horrifying incident, a 45-year-old man from Hyderabad has been arrested for reportedly killing his 34-year-old wife Venkata Madhavi, and disposing of her residue. The convicted, an ex-serviceman, allegedly murdered his wife following repeated arguments over financial matters.

According to police, the man killed his wife at their home in Lalapet, Hyderabad. To hide the crime, he supposedly cut up her body and boiled the parts in an attempt to reduce decomposition and mask the odor. He later disposed of the remains at different locations including Jillellaguda Lake near their residence.

The crime came to light when neighbors grew doubtful of the woman’s absence and reported it to the authorities. Upon investigation, the police discovered the details of the horrific act and recovered evidence linking the accused to the murder.

Reports suggest that the couple frequently argued over money, which raised into violence on the day of the crime. The accused confessed to the police, stating that the murder was committed in a fit of rage. Law enforcement officials have registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Panel Code and are conducting further investigations.

This incident has sent consequences throughout the city, with many expressing outrage over the brutal nature of the crime. Neighbors described the accused as a reserved individual, making the heinous act all the more shocking.

Police have advised the public to report domestic violence and seek timely intervention to prevent such tragedies. Moreover, the accused remains in custody as authorities gather more evidence to present in court.

This case serves as a strict reminder of the need to address domestic conflicts and provide mental health support to prevent such extreme outcomes.
