Mao Ning, a spokesperson for China's foreign ministry, expressed concern about India's decision, emphasising that it does not contribute to safeguarding peace and stability in the border areas.
Despite previous agreements between the two countries to engage in dialogue through military and diplomatic channels, China criticised India's military reinforcement.
