Digital Desk: An Israeli drone reportedly fired a missile at the Gaza house of Hamas' chief, Ismail Haniyeh, who is currently residing outside the Gaza enclave, news agency Reuters reported, citing Hamas-affiliated Al-Aqsa Radio.

The attack occurred on Saturday, targeting a home in the Al-Shati neighborhood in northern Gaza. At this time, there have been no immediate reports of casualties resulting from the strike. It is currently unknown whether any of Ismail Haniyeh's family members were present in the house when the missile struck.

Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas' political leader, has been living outside the Gaza Strip since 2019, primarily residing in Turkey and Qatar. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have not yet commented on the reported strike.

In a separate incident, Palestinian media previously reported that 14 of Haniyeh's family members were killed in an Israeli airstrike. This strike targeted another family home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, resulting in the deaths of Haniyeh's brother and nephew, according to The Times of Israel. The situation continues to evolve, and more information may emerge in the coming hours and days.
