The arrested individual, identified as Ankit Goyal, hails from Bareilly, as confirmed by the Delhi Police's Metro Unit, which has initiated an FIR and is currently conducting an inquiry into the matter.

Digital Desk: In a recent development, the Delhi Police have apprehended a 32-year-old individual on charges of writing threatening messages aimed at Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, discovered at both the Patel Nagar and Rajiv Chowk metro stations in the nation's capital.

The arrested individual, identified as Ankit Goyal, hails from Bareilly, as confirmed by the Delhi Police's Metro Unit, which has initiated an FIR and is currently conducting an inquiry into the matter.

According to reports from India Today TV, Goyal, described as highly educated and employed at a prestigious bank, maintains no political affiliations. It was revealed that he had traveled from Bareilly to Greater Noida for a property transaction and was accommodated in a luxury hotel.

While police sources have hinted at concerns regarding Goyal's mental well-being, no substantial evidence has been presented. In the wake of the graffiti discovery, AAP has accused the BJP of orchestrating the incident, alleging the latter's anxiety over potential losses in all seven constituencies in Delhi amid the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
