According to reports, Lalit Gogoi allegedly murdered his elder brother, Dilip Gogoi, following a violent confrontation.
Family sources revealed that a heated argument broke out between the two siblings over alcohol, which quickly escalated into a fatal assault.
Immediately following the incident, Lalit Gogoi reportedly surrendered at the Barpathar Police Station.
