Digital Desk: During an occasion at the MINECO Open Gym in Aizawl, Mizoram Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati launched 17 IEC mobile vans as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY).

This came after the VBSY initiative for Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telengana, and Mizoram was unveiled via video conference by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Stakeholder departments and designated beneficiaries participated in the Aizawl event, which was directed by Dr. Lalmalsawma Pachuau, Secretary, of the Planning & Programme Implementation Dept. and State Nodal Officer for Visksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

The purpose of the scheme is to use outreach initiatives to fully saturate the assistance system. The remaining nine districts will each receive one mobile van, with three of the 17 IEC vehicles being stationed in the Aizawl and two in the Lunglei districts.

There is also a recovery van and a replacement van waiting for action. Finalised schedules and the formation of a district-level committee have been announced for the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. On January 26th, 2024, outreach operations are expected to end.
