The two MBBS students taken into custody on Saturday are enrolled at a medical college in Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

Digital Desk: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested one of the masterminds, a graduate with a B.Tech degree from NIT-Jamshedpur, in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak case. Additionally, two MBBS students who allegedly served as "solvers" were also apprehended, officials disclosed.

These recent arrests have brought the total number of individuals detained by the agency in six cases related to the alleged irregularities to 21, sources confirmed. The two MBBS students taken into custody on Saturday are enrolled at a medical college in Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

According to officials, Kumar Mangalam Bishnoi, a second-year MBBS student, and Deepender Sharma, a first-year student, were in Hazaribagh on May 5, the day of the NEET UG examination. They are accused of aiding in solving the stolen exam papers, which were allegedly taken by Pankaj Kumar, an engineer previously arrested in the case.

Authorities stated that Sashikant Paswan, also known as Sashi or Pasu, who holds a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur, collaborated with Kumar and Rockey (who was arrested earlier) in the unlawful activities.
