Digital Desk: The newly held construction on the Silpukhuri-Chandmari route is causing concern among the general public, hence a meeting was organised today at Shilpukhuri Public Namghar in the city to discuss the next steps.
The conference was presided over by Guwahati's former mayor, Kushal Sharma.
The citizens of Silpukhuri are dissatisfied with the government's decision to construct a fast traffic control flyover in the city.
Today's significant meeting was attended by store owners from both sides of the Silpukhuri-Chandmari road, in addition to Shilpukhuri residents.
Along with the Shop owners, other notable persons and retired Chief Engineers attended today's public gathering.
Business associations are also concerned about the newly constructed flyover.
Furthermore, As per the Chief Engineer, there is no work on this flyover; during the meeting, they also requested that the building process and blueprint of the Flyover be made public; however, why hasn't it been made public? They questioned.
