Digital Desk: R Madhavan’s film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect premiered at Thursday’s 75th Cannes Film Festival. 

The event was attended by the movie’s team members, including Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, composer AR Rahman, R Madhavan and former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. 

The film was directed by R Madhavan and featured Simran, Rajit Kapur and Misha Ghoshal.

It may be mentioned that this year’s Cannes Film Festival features India as the ‘Country of Honor.” The Indian delegation, led by Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, Urvashi Rautela, AR Rahman, Pooja Hegde, Shekhar Kapur, and Tamannaah Bhatia, was present at the event. 

Notably, bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is one of the jury members at the festival.

Rocketry, directed by R Madhavan, is one of the most anticipated films at the renowned event. The film is based on the life of the former ISRO scientist and aeronautical engineer Nambi Narayanan. 

Notably, the movie will be released on July 1, 2022, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and English languages.
