CCTV footage showing the woman and her lover riding a bike with a large plastic sack helped police arrest the woman and her lover on Thursday.

Digital Desk: After the gruesome Meerut murder case of a woman killing her husband with the help of her lover and chopping his body into 15 pieces, a similar case has come to light in Rajasthan's Jaipur. In another horrifying case, a 42-year-old woman identified as Gopali Devi allegedly killed her husband Dhannalal Saini with the help of her 30-year-old lover Deendayal Kushwaha.

CCTV footage showing the woman and her lover riding a bike with a large plastic sack helped police arrest the woman and her lover on Thursday.

According to police, Dhannalal, a vegetable vendor, had been suspecting his wife of having an affair with a clothing shop owner Deendayal. On March 15, the victim went to the shop of Deendayal to confront him about the affair with his wife. Shockingly, he found his wife Gopali, and caught them together.

Following that, they took Dhannalal to the top floor of the shop, hit him with an iron rod on his head, and strangled him with a rope.

They packed the body in a plastic sack, carried it on a bike to a nearby forest, and set the body on fire.

Police found the half-burnt body in the forest on March 16 and arrested the wife and her lover for allegedly killing her husband. The body was sent for postmortem and further investigation is underway.
