Digital Desk: India strongly condemned Pakistan at the United Nations on Monday, highlighting Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif's admission of sponsoring and training terrorist groups in the country.

Speaking at the launch of Victims of Terrorism Associations Network in New York, Deputy Permanent Representative of India in the UN, Yojna Patel called Pakistan a 'rogue state fuelling global terrorism'.

Patel hit out at Pakistan for misusing the international platform to spread propaganda and making baseless allegations against India.

India's Deputy Permanent Representative expressed gratitude to the global community for their support and solidarity after the Pahalgam terror attack. She added that their support signified the International community's zero tolerance for terrorism.

Patel also highlighted India's status as a victim of cross-border terrorism.

After the Pahalgam attack, Khawaja Asif in an interview admitted on Sky News that Pakistan has been "doing the dirty work of the US for the past three decades, including the West and the UK".

Patel further said that the confession surprised no one and exposed Pakistan as a 'rogue state'.

She added, "The world can no longer turn a blind eye."
