In the midst of Diwali celebrations, the tragedy happened late on Sunday night on Ghaziabad's Link Road.

Digital Desk: A 40-year-old man died on Sunday in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh after firecrackers were thrown at him. The event was captured on surveillance camera, which has gone viral on social media. The main accused in the case is absconding, and a squad has been formed to find them.

Two individuals can be seen talking with another group of people in the eighteen-second video. A guy threw firecrackers at one of them out of the blue as they turned to leave. The 40-year-old man can be seen instantly collapsing onto the ground.
The accused is identified as Pradeep, while the dead man is identified as Natu, alias Afzal.

The victim's body has been sent for postmortem examination by the police. They claimed that a thorough inquiry into the situation has been initioated.
