Digital Desk: On December 27, suspected Khalistani members allegedly attacked Assam BJP politician Upen Nath and his family in Punjab, when he was on his way to bring food from a neighbouring food shop.
Upen Nath, who is currently in Punjab with his family for a medical checkup in Derabassi, was accosted by assailants while on his way home from work in the evening.
In his complaint, Nath stated that he was attacked with a sword on his head as well as other places of his body.
Nath further claimed that the police have not yet registered the complaint.
