Wasim Akram criticized Abrar Ahmed's celebration when he dismissed Shubman Gill since he thought the circumstances were not fitting.

Digital Desk: Pakistani cricket great Wasim Akram was not happy how spinner Abrar Ahmed’s peculiar send off to Indian batter Shubman Gill during their match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Gill played a beautiful 52-ball 46 to the annoyance of the Pakistani bowler Abrar Ahmed who finished him with seven boundaries in his elegant innings. The 18th over delivery from Abrar resulted in knocking Gill down. The two Indian cricketers Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli displayed clear signs of astonishment on their faces while the delivery was underway.

During this time Abrar Ahmed just crossed his hands in front of him while keeping his eyes on Gill indicating from his eyes that he should walk back.

His delivery impressed me very much. The celebration failed to create any positive impression on me. According to Akram during his Sports Central interview he stated "Time aur jagah hoti hain na yaar”(There is a time and place for everything)" “Is there no one to pull him up and ask what he was doing? Look at the match situation—you are under the cosh, yet you are celebrating as if you have taken five wickets.

In another interview, at the ‘Dressing Room’ Akram criticized Pakistan’s fast-bowling attack for deteriorating since his tenure as the stocks of incisive bowling now stand lower.
