Digital Desk: In a fiery exchange in the Rajya Sabha, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan aimed Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, referencing the Mahabharat epic to criticize his recent remarks. Without directly naming Gandhi, Chouhan condemned what he described as references to 'chakravyuh' in modern-day discourse, labeling them as symbols of "adharm" or unrighteousness.
Chouhan highlighted, "Even when he referred to the Mahabharat, he recalled Shakuni, Chausar, Chakravyuh, and all these words are linked to unrighteousness. Jaki rahi bhavna jaisi, prabhu murat dekhi tin taisi."
He continued by casting Shakuni as a symbol of deceit and betrayal, questioning why the Congress party consistently associates itself with such negative connotations.
The former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh emphasized that whenever the BJP invokes the Mahabharat, they align it with Lord Krishna, a symbol of righteousness and justice.
