    Digital Desk: Rishi Kapoor was one of Bollywood's most sought-after actors. However, his untimely death shocked the whole film industry. The actor, who died after a two-year struggle with cancer, played some memorable roles on screen that fans still remember fondly. He has created a legacy that spans five decades and will be remembered for the rest of his life. Sharmaji Namkeen, the final film of the iconic actor, will have its internet debut on March 31.

    For the uninitiated, the late actor was unable to complete the film, so the creators enlisted actor Paresh Rawal to finish the remaining sections of the film, making it the first time two actors played the same character in one film. As its release date approaches, Ranbir Kapoor recently talked out about his father's last film, Sharmajii Namkeen.

    As Rishi Kapoor's last film prepares for its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video, Ranbir Kapoor recently opened up about his father's final film. His son sent a heartfelt message to his fans in honor of his father's legacy. He revealed why Sharmaji Namkeen is a 'special film' for him in the video.

    Ranbir reveals how his father was full of life and positivity, and he wanted to complete the film at all costs despite his deteriorating health conditions. The actor goes on to say that his untimely departure prompted the producers to experiment with VFX and Ranbir to experiment with prosthetics, but nothing appears to have worked out. The film was then completed by veteran actor Paresh Rawal.

    Ranbir further goes on "Sharmaji Namkeen will always be my one of the most-fondest memories of my father. Up there on the screen, bringing a smile to his countless fans." He asked fans to shower love on the film, just the way they loved Rishi Kapoor. In the end, he urged all the viewers to watch Sharmaji Namkeen's trailer releasing tomorrow.

    The film is billed as a family drama. It will centre on a recently retired man who discovers his love of cooking after joining a riotous women's kitty circle. The film stars Juhi Chawla, Suhail Nayyar, Taaruk Raina, Satish Kaushik, and many others, including the late Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal, who will both play the titular character.
