‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ to go off air temporarily for this reason

Last year Kapil Sharma took a break after becoming a father for the second time

Digital Desk: The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV will be taken off the air for an indefinite period. The absence of host Kapil to shoot episodes due to his upcoming US tour has forced the producers to consider a break.

A source close to The Kapil Sharma Show said, “Kapil has a month-long USA tour planned for mid-June and would be unavailable to shoot. Due to this, the team decided to take a break simultaneously. A few episodes, however, will be pre-shot in order to keep fans entertained before the show goes on pause.”

In January last year, Kapil took a break after becoming a father for the second time. When a fan asked Kapil during a Twitter Q&A session why the show was going off the air, he replied, “Because I need to be there at home with my wife to welcome our second baby.” However, in July 2021, Kapil Sharma Show makes a comeback.

According to the source, the break this time will also be brief, lasting only a few weeks. However, Kapil and his team will decide in a few days. Kapil is currently multitasking between his show and his Bollywood film, directed by Nandita Das. The shooting scene is currently taking place in Orissa.

The third season of The Kapil Sharma Show is currently airing on Sony TV. Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, Bharti Singh, Sumona Chakravarti, Chandan Prabhakar, and Archana Puran Singh also appear on the show.
