    Here is a happy moment for the vegans out there, as plant-based meat products are about to enter the Indian Market.

    Recently, the Bollywood diva Anushka Sharma and her husband an ace cricketer Virat Kohli have taken a share of the company all set to produce plant-based meat products.

    ‘Blue tribe’ is the company that offers alternatives for meat-based products for the Indian market, this multi-dollar company is owned by Sandeep Singh and Nikki Arora Singh.

    According to reports, the star duo will endorse the brand, ‘Blue Tribe’, adding to a growing number of celebrities investing in alternate businesses.

    Its products are made with pea, soybean, lentils, grains, and other protein-dense ingredients.

     It sells plant-based chicken momos, nuggets, and sausages, among other products.

    Both Sharma and Kohli are advocates of plant-based meat products.

    Mock meat has found favor among consumers with companies such as Beyond Meat in the United States offering a variety of food products. Such food typically has a lower calorie and fat content and is known to be a source of protein and fiber.

    The trend has seen others back plant-based meat brands too.
