Digital Desk: Jungkook of global K-pop sensation BTS officially released two self-composed tracks on mainstream music apps Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music on July 3.
The two tracks, titled "Still With You" and "My You" were initially released on the indie streaming music service SoundCloud in June 2020 and June 2022, respectively.
Their official release is approximately two weeks before Jungkook's solo debut on July 14 with the track SEVEN.
It also marks the start of Jungkook's promotional campaign for the track, which was originally confirmed by his record label, BigHit Music, to start today.
Apart from Still With You and My You, the schedule also contains concept photos, behind-the-scenes films, and previews leading up to SEVEN's release.
While BigHit has yet to share additional information regarding Jungkook's solo debut single, it has been rumoured that the song is a preview of his full-length album, which is expected to be released later this year.
Previously, the 25-year-old K-pop idol worked with Qatari musician Fahad Al-Kubaisi for Dreamers, the official theme song of the
2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
His solo debut comes a year after BTS stated that they will take a break from group activities in June 2022 to focus on solo projects.
