Digital Desk: Bollywood celeb couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are now officially husband and wife. The couple tied the knot in a traditional ceremony at Jaisalmer's Suryagarh Palace on Tuesday afternoon. In attendance were the family members and friends of the two, including a few names from Bollywood as well.

The wedding party had arrived in Jaisalmer a few days before the big day. The pre-wedding celebrations began on Monday with a welcome lunch in the afternoon, followed by a star-studded sangeet ceremony in the evening. Videos circulating online from the location revealed groovy Bollywood tunes and Punjabi beats. As per reports, songs from Sidharth and Kiara's flicks, including Ranjha, Kabhi Tumhe, and Tera Ban Jaunga, as well as Mehendi Lagake Rakhna, Sajan Ji, and Patiala Peg, were played at the ceremony.

The wedding festivities started on Tuesday with a haldi ceremony in the morning, followed by the wedding in the afternoon. Videos of a brass band preparing for the baraat procession near the location went viral in the afternoon. The newlyweds will host a wedding reception at the fort in the evening when they will meet guests as husband and wife for the first time.

Apart from their family and friends, the wedding guest list includes Shahid and Mira Kapoor, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Armaan Jain, and Isha Ambani. The couple is expected to host a reception later in Mumbai, which will be attended by more of their Bollywood colleagues.

Sidharth and Kiara's romance blossomed on the sets of their film Shershaah in 2021. The Vishnuvardhan film, which was filmed during Covid, was a major hit when it was released on Prime Video in 2021. However, the couple remained tight-lipped about their romance till very recently and even avoided questions about the wedding.

Post-wedding, we are hoping that the couple will share their first official picture as husband and wife and that we'll see yet another romantic picture of a Bollywood couple against the sunset.
