• Oscar 2022: Here's the most awaited list of nominees for Best Actor, Actress and more

    The ceremony for Oscars, 2022 will be broadcast live in India starting at 5.30 a.m. IST on Monday, March 28. The four major Oscar categories are presented here: Best Best Picture, Best Actor (Male), Best Actor (Female), and Best Director.  Digital Desk: The 94th Academy Awards, the year's most awaited international award show, is likely to enthrall audiences. The Oscars will be held in the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 27 at 8 p.m. ET. This means that fans in India will be able to watch the event on Monday, March 28, at 5.30 a.m. IST. The four major Oscar categories are Best Picture, Best Actor (Male), Best Actor (Female), and Best Director. Whereas Dune and The Power of the Dog have been nominated for best picture, best director nominees include Belfast director Kenneth Branagh, Ryusuke Hamaguchi, Paul Thomas Anderson, Jane Campion, and Steven Spielberg.  Meanwhile, the Academy has unveiled the presenters for the big night, including Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) and Jason Momoa and Josh Brolin (Dune). Not only that, but Jacob Elordi, Jake Gyllenhaal, tennis legends Serena and Venus Williams, J. K. Simmons, and Jill Scott have all been added to the list. The 94th Academy Awards will take Indians on a joyride as Suriya's Jai Bhim and Mohanlal's Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham have been selected among the 276 films that have been shortlisted. Priyanka Chopra, Mindy Kaling, and Kumail Nanjiani co-hosted the pre-Oscar event to celebrate South Asian talent. Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram to write a letter to mark the night's end and express her best wishes to all of the 94th Academy Awards candidates.
