While the couple has consistently rejected dating rumours, someone or other always comes up with proof that they are together. Taking it a step further, a "film critic" recently stated that they are getting engaged soon!

Kriti Sanon and Prabhas are getting engaged?

Taking to Twitter, "film critic" Umair Sandhu revealed, "BREAKING NEWS: #KritiSanon & #Prabhas will get engaged next week in Maldives!! So Happy for them."

However, netizens remained sceptical and accused Umair of propagating false information. While some mocked the so-called film critic, others joked that even the Adipurush co-stars were unaware of their own engagement.

"Worst part is even kriti sanon and prabhas don't know about this matter," one user commented. While one user joked, "Bhai meri shadi kab ho rha hei Batado bhai!." "Thanks for the update. Also heard that you have got the food catering contract. Biryani should become the highlight. Take care. Lots of love," another one commented. 

Prabhas and Kriti Sanon's dating history

For the uninitiated, Kriti and Prabhas were the topic of dating rumours when the actress joked about marrying him. However, things went out of hand when Kriti's Bhediya co-star Varun Dhawan mocked the actress about her 'rumoured boyfriend' on a show.

"Kriti ka naam isliye nahi tha kyunki Kriti ka naam kisi ke dil me hai. Ek aadmi hai jo Mumbai me nahi hai, vo iss waqt shooting kar raha hai Deepika ke saath," had said and coincidently Prabhas was on a shoot with Deepika Padukone at that time.

Following this, both Adipurush actors denied any dating rumours. While Kriti began addressing them directly on Instagram, Prabhas joked that he wouldn't married until Bollywood superstar Salman Khan agreed to do so.
