    Digital Desk: The film 'Leo,' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Vijay, hits theatres today (October 19). The film opened in Tamil Nadu at 9 a.m., with the first showings taking place at 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. in other states such as Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and abroad locations. 

    Surprisingly, news has floated on ups that a high-quality pirated version of Vijay's 'Leo' was uploaded on the internet before the film's second show on day one, shocking viewers.



    Unidentified individuals also carried out a live broadcast for 'Leo' on social media, projecting the film from theatres in an attempt to gain social media impressions by sharing the highly awaited flick.

    Meanwhile, the makers have asked fans to report pirated Vijay-starrer videos, and they are taking prompt action to remove the pirated version from the internet. Screenshots and small clips from the film went viral, revealing plot details for the action drama. 




    Fans, on the other hand, have come out in favour of the 'Leo' creators, reporting the social media handles and websites that distributed the pirated version of the Vijay starrer.

    'Leo,' which has been released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, has had a phenomenal start in several locales. Vijay's film alongside Lokesh Kanagaraj is set to have a record-breaking opening day, owing to good reviews from early screenings. 'Leo' has been released on over 20,000 screens globally, making it one of the most widely distributed Tamil films.
