    Veteran actor-producer Ramesh Deo passes away at 93 
    Digital Desk: Veteran actor-producer Ramesh Deo passed away on Wednesday. Ramesh Deo had worked in movies including Anand and Mere Apne.

    According to sources, the actor passed away at 93 in Mumbai on February 02. Ramesh Deo's son Abhinay Deo confirmed the news to Indian Express.

    Abhinay Deo shared the sad news stating, "He passed away due to heart attack around 8:30 pm tonight at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. He was 93." 

    The late actor has recognition for considerable films in his title and was exceptionally praised in the Marathi film industry. He has done outstanding work in the entertainment industry. So far, he has worked in around 285 Hindi films and 190 Marathi movies. He had even made feature movies, TV serials, and ad movies.

    The news of Deo's demise has saddened his fans, and they took to their social media to express their grief. A fan shared a post and wrote, "Rest In Peace, Ramesh Deo Saab."

    Another user penned, "Marathi cinema has lost a doyen. Rest in Peace, Ramesh Deo." Such sad notes have showered in the name of the Ramesh Deo.

    Deo was an actor, director, and producer as well. He began his profession in the year 1951 with the film Paatlaachi Por, a Marathi film. His first Hindi film was Aarti under Rajshree Productions. It was released to hit the big screen in the year 1961. 

    On January 30, 1929, Deo was born in Maharastra and had two children – Ajinkya Deo and Abhinay Deo. He was married to Seema Deo. He passed away on February 02, 2022.
