    Digital Desk: Manchester United player David Beckham married Victoria, a singer and fashion designer in 1999. Their marriage has endured the test of time and is one of Hollywood's most longstanding celebrity marriages. The couple had four children throughout the course of their almost two-decade marriage and saw one other through the good and bad times. Former England captain, speaking to Ruth Rogers on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast, spilt the beans on their opposing food interests. Beckham confessed in the podcast that Victoria has been gobbling down the same meal for the past 25 years! Victoria has only eaten grilled fish and steamed veggies for the past quarter-century. The athlete also stated that food and wine make him emotional and that when he eats, he wants everyone to partake in the same luxuries.

    “Since I met her, she will very rarely deviate from that,” said Beckham. The pair's admirers, who are known for their polarised nature, aren't surprised by this. One of his favourite evenings, remembered the 46-year-old, was when Victoria abandoned her customary diet.

    “The only time she probably shared something that’s been on my plate was when she was pregnant with Harper,” he said. He cannot recollect the dish but remembers that she has not eaten it since. Beckham answered some interesting details related to his likes. Saying he is boring in the food department, Beckham revealed his comfort food is “whole grain toast with salt on it.”

    Victoria is a "very finicky eater," according to David Beckham, who prefers her meals to be made simply, without oils, butter, or sauces. Her spouse takes advantage of the occasions when she isn't there due to their conflicting diets. Beckham stated that having the house to himself is preferable since he can prepare anything he wants. In fact, he recently prepared one of the greatest dinners he's had in a long time. Of course, neither Victoria nor their children were present.
