Actress Nishi Singh passes away at 50; husband reminisces her struggles
Nishi Singh departs leaving her husband, writer-actor Sanjay Singh Bhadli, and two children, an 18-year-old daughter, and a 21-year-old son.

Digital Desk: Nishi Singh, a television artist, died on September 18th at the age of 50 after suffering from a severe illness for the past three years. The actress, who had suffered three paralytic strokes in the previous three years, was experiencing major health difficulties, and her situation was deteriorating over time.

Her husband, writer-actor Sanjay Singh Bhadli, and two children, an 18-year-old daughter, and a 21-year-old son hopes made her survive. According to her husband, Nishi had her first paralytic attack in February 2019 and second in February 2020, after which she was treated. Her condition improved until her third stroke in May of this year when her health deteriorated.

While discussing her last few days before passing away, Sanjay stated that it was 'ironic' that she died just two days after her family celebrated her 50th birthday on Friday. Sanjay stated that she appeared joyful and that she was unable to communicate but appeared to have loved her birthday celebrations.

Sanjay went on to say that she was suffering from a terrible throat illness, which made it difficult for her to eat. He noted that she had stopped eating solid foods and was only drinking liquids.

Sanjay broke down after losing his life partner, saying that she fought hard to survive but died around 3 p.m. on Sunday.

"The worst part is that she had been with me for 32 years." Even though she was ill, she was always present. Except for our children, I no longer have anyone to call a family. My daughter had likewise abandoned her studies and skipped her board examinations to care for her mother, while I was unable to work because she always required me by her side. We're in the midst of a financial crisis and don't have much left," Sanjay Singh explained.

Sanjay went on to say that the family received financial assistance from friends in the entertainment industry, including Ramesh Taurani, Gul Khan, and Surbhi Chandna, throughout the actor's treatment and even after her death.

The Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) also assisted them financially. Despite this, he had to sell his house and car to pay for his medical bills, and he is now left with very little.

Nishi Singh is well known for portraying "Haseena Bi" on the television programme Qubool Hai, which featured Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover in the key roles. Nishi Singh has also been on the programmes Hitler Didi, Ishqbaaz, and Tenali Rama.
