Vignesh Shivan revealed that they originally planned to marry in Tirupati.

Digital Desk: Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan are all set to marry on June 9 at a resort in Mahabalipuram, according to many reports by news outlets. 

According to the Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal director, he revealed his and Nayanthara's wedding plans at a conference in Chennai. He disclosed that they originally planned to marry in Tirupati. However, they decided to change the wedding venue due to logistical issues.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are getting ready to take their six-year relationship to the next level.

Vighnesh Shivan said some heartfelt words addressing the media, "Like how your blessings have been there for me professionally, I needed those for my personal life as well. I am moving on to the next stage of my personal life. On June 9, I am getting married to the love of my life, Nayanthara. After the marriage, we will share our pictures with you all in the afternoon. On June 11 afternoon, Nayanthara and I will meet you (media) all, and we will have lunch together."

After initially wanting a destination wedding, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan planned a low-key wedding in Tirupati Temple, Andhra Pradesh. 

However, the couple relocated the Wedding to Mahabalipuram due to logistical issues. Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan will marry on June 9 at the Sheraton Grand in Mahabalipuram.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan appear to have both printed and digital wedding invitations. The digital invitation is all about aesthetics with floral and palace imagery. 

On the other hand, the printed wedding invitation is traditional and features illustrations of a bride and groom who look like the actor-filmmaker duo.

MK Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, was personally invited to Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's Wedding. 

Apart from that, many big names in the film industry are expected to attend, including Rajinikanth, Anirudh Ravichander, Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi, Suriya, Ajith, Karthi, Vijay, Sethupathi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and others, according to media reports. However, no official confirmation of the guest has been issued.

About Star Couple's Wedding Video: 

Another word on the street circulating about the celebrity couple's Wedding is that filmmaker Gautham Menon will direct the ceremony, later being turned into a documentary and sold to an OTT platform for a fortune.

According to reports, the wedding documentary will be released on Netflix.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan began dating in 2015 while working on Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. The couple announced their relationship at an award ceremony in 2016.
