Digital Desk: Leaders from 15 opposition parties of Assam gathered in Dibrugarh on Thursday for a two-day summit aimed at formulating strategies for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
 
Representing the United Opposition Forum, Assam, the gathering brought together leaders of notable political parties such as Congress, Assam Jatiya Parishad, Raijor Dal, Jatiya Dal-Asom, Aam Aadmi Party, TMC, NCP, CPI, CPM, CPI(ML), RJD, Janata Dal (United), All India Forward Bloc, All Party Hill Leaders Conference and Shiv Sena (UBT).
 
During a political convention in Dibrugarh, the Forum endorsed a state-specific shared manifesto for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024.

A "chargesheet against the BJP" was also approved by the United Opposition Forum Assam (UOFA), which was established during the convention and modeled after the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA).

On the second day of the convention, which was held at the District Library in Dibrugarh today, the Forum's leaders gave speeches to the employees and representatives of the various political parties.
