Guwahati: The All Assam Minorities Student Union (AAMSU) has moved the Gauhati High Court after police failed to arrest controversial king Satya Ranjan Borah for his recent viral Facebook post on Monday.

Earlier, multiple complaints have been filed against Satya Ranjan Borah by different organizations for his controversial statements.

Satya Ranjan Borah recently made a defamatory comment against a minority community and its religious preacher Prophet Muhammad and 72 maidens of the community on a social media platform.

However, rubbishing all allegations pitted against him, Borah said, "I never used told Muslim's religious guru Prophet Muhammad is a dacoit, I only used the word 'Hazrat' not 'Muhammad."

Notably, Borah deleted his post from the social media platform after receiving backlash from the netizens.

But a section of Facebook users shared the screenshot tagging the former General Secretary of BJP Kishan Morcha, Satya Ranjan Borah on the social media platform.

AAMSU claimed that Satya Ranjan Borah is trying to disturb the peace and harmony in the region by his defamatory ideologies and statements. It further demanded to arrest Borah within 24 hours.

Recently, Veer Lachit Sena leader Shrinkhal Chaliha also slammed Borah for his defamatory comment. He was mentally sick and losing the power to think properly, which is harmful to society.
