BSF Jawan Roasts Papad On Hot Sand In Bikanar’s 47°C Heat

A video shared by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma showed a BSF jawan engaging in a unique activity amid the blistering heat. The jawan is seen roasting papad on hot sand in the desert of Bikaner, Rajasthan, where the temperature reaches a staggering 47°C.

In the video, the BSF officer places a kachha papad on the scorching sand, covering it with more sand and patiently awaiting its cooking. This unconventional demonstration highlights the intensity of the heat waves plaguing the region. After a few minutes, he uncovers the papad to reveal it is fully cooked, demonstrating the remarkable ability of the desert sand to cook food under such extreme conditions.

To demonstrate thorough cooking, the jawan breaks the papad into pieces, accompanied by an audible crackle, showcasing the effectiveness of the sand in cooking the papad.
