Digital Desk: As many as 30 bottles of Corex cough syrup were seized from a four-wheeler during an operation in the Chandmari area of Guwahati during the early hours of Thursday.
Sources claim that during a late-night operation, the police located a car near the Assam Engineering Institute, which is where the cough syrup bottles were seized.
Four people have been arrested by the police about the seizure, and it has been estimated that the bottles of Corex cough syrup that were taken are worth Rs. 25,000.
It has become apparent that cocaine and other narcotics were smuggled in the seized vehicle.
