Guwahati: An incident of fire outbreak in the busy Guwahati’s ISBT took place yesterday night leading to a commotion in the area. Two buses were badly damaged in the fire incident which started roughly around 8:30 pm at night.

Fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the fire while the drivers and handymen of other buses were involved in controlling the fire so that the fire could not spread further.

The fire incident delayed the operations of other buses plying for the night.

The privately-owned buses were reported under Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC). The registration number of the vehicles, one of which was a city bus, have been identified as AS01-BC-9750 and AS01-HC-0776
