Digital Desk: Earthquake tremors of 3.9 magnitudes were felt in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills district at 09:26:29 on Thursday morning. However, there has been no report of seismic damage.

People fled their homes as soon as they felt the earthquake's shocks. Because of the earthquake, people became terrified.

According to data from the Center for Seismology Science, the earthquake's epicentre was 46 kilometres beneath the ground in Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills area.

"Earthquake of Magnitude:3.9, Occurred on 16-02-2023, 09:26:29 IST, Lat: 25.30 & Long: 91.71, Depth: 46 Km, Location: East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya," NCS tweeted. 


The earthquake's epicentre was situated at 25.30 north latitudes and 91.71 east longitudes.
