Tokyo: Indian athlete P.V. Sindhu will play for her bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020 today. She had missed her chance for Gold at the continuing Tokyo Olympics on Saturday.

P.V. Sindhu had defeated Taiwan's Tai Tzu-Ying at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Considering then, Tai Tzu-Ying has beaten the Indian nine-time and hit her down certainly in the semifinals.

Sindhu, who is still to leave a game throughout the competition, stated that she has dropped out on the gold medal competition but hopes to bring back at least a bronze from Tokyo.

"I'm a bit sad because it's the semifinals, but I tried my best it was just not my day. I fought until the end," Sindhu is cited as stating by the Badminton World Federation (BWF).

"I believe it's going to be a little sad, but I want to focus on that. It's not done yet. I still have a possibility. So I suppose I give my best," responded Sindhu.

"It's sad I couldn't go to the finals. A lot of people from India have encouraged me and revealed to me their love. However, it just wasn't my day, and I'm going to try over tomorrow," she stated.
