There were no immediate reports of damage as a result of the quakes...

Digital Desk: A series of earthquakes jolted several locations in Western Nepal on Wednesday morning, as said by officials. According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, three earthquakes struck the Baglung district in the early hours of Wednesday.

A 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck Adhikari Chaur at 1:23 a.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, at 2:07 a.m., a 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck with its epicentre at Khunga. The third quake, measuring 4 magnitudes, struck Adhikari Chowk at 3:28 a.m. on Wednesday.

The earthquake monitoring centre, on the other hand, suggested that these were not aftershocks from the 2015 earthquakes, but these were rather new quakes.

There were no primary damage reported from the quakes.

On April 25, 2015, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal's Gorkha area, killing over 9,000 people and destroying over 500,000 houses.
